May Day 2002

May Day in Australia? Nah, just protests. They are protesting:

  • the Yanks in Afghanistan

  • Australia supporting the Yanks

  • the Afghanis in the detention centres

  • the Israelis donnering the Palestinians

  • Australia because they are not against the Yanks who are for the Israelis
         (or something like that, I couldn't quite figure that one out...)
  • etc etc

    • Oh yes, and sommer Boeing as well because they make aeroplane engines and somehow this is affecting world peace, AIDS/famine in Africa, the whales/koalas/rain forests/whatever and the ozone layer. And when the protest is over, they will go for coffee and muffins at BB's on the corner. Fuck it must be nice to be on the dole. And to think that indirectly I am funding this crap!

    What a bunch of cunts. Fortunately, their little protest is largely ignored by 99% of the population, it didn't achieve anything meaningful and, most of all, didn't disrupt the traffic this morning. Also it may provide something else for these dimwits to talk about and give us a break from Big Fucking Brother.

    By the way, the holiday is next monday so we have a long weekend. :-)
