I was born on January 21, 1961 in East London, South Africa. In the first month of the first year of the new millennium I thus turned 40...a sad day indeed.

To counteract the depression of the event, I was lucky enough to have two birthday parties on two continents! The first was on January 13 in Prague, Czech Republic and the second was on January 20 in Pretoria, South Africa.
